| When will
our greedy government get it? Oh,
"they" get it alright! While our
federal, state and local authorities have
their cocktails at lunch, drink and most
likely drive during the day and the
night, (like many people do), get drunk
or "high" in the evenings or on
weekends, in bars, at dinner and or in
nightclubs, thousands of drug users and
one-time users of marijuana are sitting
in jail and prison at taxpayers expense.
DUI drivers get a lesser punishment.
It's
total hypocrisy! The war on drugs can
never be won. To end the war on drugs
would be to put thousands of high paid
bureaucrats out of work. The war on drugs
is nothing more than an entitlement of
wealth for all those involved in
upholding the law, at any cost.
Why
isn't the government protecting our
borders and upholding the illegal
immigration laws. The answer is simple;
there is no money in it - but billions of
dollars can be made by the bureaucrats,
businesses and local enforcement, by just
looking the other way. Yet the war on
drugs continues.
