Cloward-Piven Strategy
Also See: Saul Alinsky | Bill Ayers
Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven (husband and wife) were sociologists and political activists at the Columbia University School of Social Works. Their strategy, as outlined in a 1966 article in the "Nation" was entitled "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy To End Poverty". In 1966, the Democrat Party controlled the White House and both houses of the U. S. Congress. With the Democrats in power, this was the ripe time for "their strategy" to take effect. They said the best way to collapse "the system" was through the economy. The weight of the poor were considered the oppressor. This is where "redistribution of wealth" comes into play. If you drive people into poverty and then make them dependent on the government payroll, through welfare, food stamps, housing and other handouts, eventually the entitlements would become unsustainable and the system would collapse.

As of November 2010, 14% of Americans now receive food stamps.
Nancy Pelosi says food stamps and unemployment insurance will grow the US economy.

Is the Cloward-Piven Strategy working?
Isn't this where President Obama and Congress have been taking our economy since 2009?
